Clips for Cloak-015 Limoges

Mantle clip, taken from an original Limoges in France. The clip contains a heraldic shield that represents a red lion rampant on a gold field. It is made of cast brass and finished entirely by hand. The lion is glazed. It should be applied on each edge of the mantle by introducing the ring on the back, in a buttonhole previously made​​, and then stitched in four points. From the back of the coat then exits the ring in which you pass a strip of cloth that is used to keep the coat closed. Sold in pairs
